Hello, I am a hobby blacksmith and full time steel detailer located in Baldwin City, Kansas. My passion for blacksmithing came from a young age, with a natural drive to design and create. More specifically, blade smithing was very intriguing to me; sparks, fire, and steel, what else could a 14 year old boy want?

I started out by making a homemade coal forge from a truck brake drum and hair dryer. I found an old peter wright anvil passed down in the family out in the barn. I started out making small hooks, bottle openers, and knives from scavenged mild steel. Fast forward a couple years after making dozens of knives, I had conquered the basic skills of blacksmithing and built my own propane forge. After graduating college, I obtained a few more tools, built my own 2x72 belt sander and started making higher quality knives. I studied the basic metallurgy process of high carbon steels and different grades suited for different applications.

I enjoy the craft so much, I had collected so many knives, I couldn't keep all of them. I started selling knives to help fuel my hobby, so I can improve and share my work, that way others can enjoy handcrafted tools as much as I do. Carrying on the tradition from preceding family members, I pride myself on keeping the lost art alive and want to keep the forging process traditional. Each knife is hand forged with a high attention to detail and craftsmenship.
